Reporting Content
Decks and rooms are created by users. If someone's set of cards infringes your rights or breaks the community guidelines, there is a "Report" button and three different paths depending on who you are in the story.
What it is
Where the button is
The "Report" button sits on the deck card in the deck list and on the room card in the room list, next to "Favorite".
Reporting requires a signed-in account: without one the button shows the hint "Sign in to report content". A formal copyright notice is the exception - it can be filed without an account, through the form on the website.
Three paths
The report dialog opens with the question "What would you like to report?":
- I am the rights holder - a formal copyright notice (DMCA, DSA, Russian law). It asks for your contact details and a sworn statement.
- I suspect infringement - a signal that someone else's content does not look like theirs. No documents from you.
- Inappropriate content - the content breaks the community guidelines.
The first path is a legal procedure with liability for a false statement. The second and third are ordinary reports handled by moderation.
How to use
An ordinary report
- Press "Report" on the deck or room card.
- Choose "I suspect infringement" or "Inappropriate content".
- Describe the problem in the "Description" field. A description is required, and the more concrete it is, the faster the review.
- Press "Submit Report".
- You get a confirmation: "Report submitted. Thank you for helping keep the community safe."
A formal copyright notice
- Press "Report" and choose "I am the rights holder".
- Fill in the form:
- Your full name - required.
- Email address - required; the confirmation and the decision go there.
- Mailing address - optional.
- Description of the infringed work - required.
- URL of the original work - optional, but it speeds the review up a lot.
- Confirm the sworn statement: the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Press "Submit notice".
- You receive a notice number in return - keep it, you will need it in any correspondence.
What happens next
- The notice or report enters the moderation queue.
- A moderator reviews the material and decides: validate the notice and block the content, reject it as unfounded, or, for user reports, investigate or escalate.
- When a notice is validated the content is blocked and its owner is notified with a statement of reasons, as DSA article 17 requires.
- For a formal notice, the acknowledgement and the decision arrive at the email address you gave.
Scenarios
- Someone else uploaded your cards: take the "I am the rights holder" path and include a link to the original.
- It looks like scans of a boxed deck: take "I suspect infringement" and describe what made you think so.
- The cards break the community guidelines: take "Inappropriate content".
Tips and errors
- "Too many reports. Please try again later" is a rate limit: wait a moment and retry.
- A false sworn statement is not a formality: it carries liability and can lead to account restrictions.
- The tools moderators use to work through reports are described in Moderation panel - that page is for the team, not for the reporter.
- Platform rules and the complaints procedure are in the terms of use.
